This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing MemoratVersete on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

About this app

This is a bilingual romanian-english app (containing the Bible in Versiunea Dumitru Cornilescu Corectată and King James Version) with the following features:
- personal database for memory Bible verses (or favourite verses), that can be edited as desired
- keywords can be added to the verses (in romanian and/or english, comma-separated). Afterwards the keywords can be visualised as separate lists, like a personal concordance.
- the Bible can be read in romanian, english, or both in parallel.
Clicking on Bible verses reveals a pop-up menu with the options to add the verse to the memory verses list, add it to a topical list, or set it as a bookmark. By long-clicking the verse, a note can be added to the verse (or if there is already one attached, it can be accessed and edited).
- the Bible can be searched in romanian or english, by phrase or individual words, and the results of the search can be saved as a topical list
- topical lists can be built with a title, Bible verses and personal notes (which can have bold or italic text, or different sizes). The notes or verses can be deleted by swiping from side to side. Long-clicking on a verse or note enables it to be dragged to a different position.
- Bible verses or chapters, keywords, memory verses, and topical lists can be shared, saved, or printed.
- settings page where the UI language, text size and theme can be changed.
Also, the database can be exported to SD card or imported from SD card, which can be used as backup, or used when changing the device (to avoid having to build a completely new database).
- a widget that can be added to the home screen, that displays a verse from the memory verses list at random for a period of time (approximately 2 days).
