This app took several attempts to download. Once that step had been achieved, the app never worked. All that ever came up was a black screen. Will be uninstalling asap. May try on an iPad but not expecting a different result. Really disappointing. (Follow Up: I stand corrected. The Apple version works on an iPad Air. Perhaps this app is too much for an old Galaxy S2. Impressive app but still disappointing that it didn't work here on Android)

I bought the companion book and I was delighted seeing Spinosaurus burst out of the cover. The animated Velociraptor was also cool to look at. However, most of the dinosaurs are just static. Also, this app isn't compatible with my Samsung Galaxy S5 so I couldn't download it. Good thing it works on my Galaxy Note 10.1 otherwise, it would have been disappointing reading the book without having the experience the app brings. Hope you can fix that compatibility issue.

We used your app in our science weekend to promote about AR technology so I would like to say thank you for the great app. And about your app, it's working just fine but a liitle bit laggy sometime and too sensitive but great job so far THANK YOU

This app inverts the camera when used on a Nexus 5x. Likely because it uses an old API that does not access the camera correctly.

About this app

The Dinosaur Discovery app accompanies the premier dinosaur exhibition "Dinosaur Discovery: Lost Creatures of the Cretaceous”, on show at the Queensland Museum, Brisbane, Australia from 27 March 2015.

This app features unique 3D content that is accessed by finding and discovering frame markers located throughout the exhibition, on merchandise and also publicly available on marketing material including posters, flyers, bus stops and in newspapers and magazines.

Users can take photos with these dinosaurs, standing next to them or holding them in their hands and they can save these photos to their camera roll or share them on Twitter and Facebook through the app.

The 3D dinosaurs in this application are anatomically correct representations which are based on the latest paleontological research. The dinosaurs featured in this app include:

1. Leaellynasaura
2. Australovenator
3. Minmi
4. Muttaburrasaurus
5. Therizinosaurus
6. Spinosaurus
7. Carcharodontosaurus
8. Styracosaurus
9. Amargasarus
10. Protoceratops
11. Velociraptor
12. Tyrannosaurus rex

For users who are not at the exhibition, sample markers can be downloaded and printed from the Dinosaur Discovery support page on the Western Australian Museum’s website.
