Provided by University of the Sunshine Coast, this free APP is the ideal online and offline guide for students, researchers and visitors to explore, learn and connect with the universal values of K’gari-Fraser Island.

The Island is a complex ecosystem of lakes, forests and sand formations, with long uninterrupted sweeps of ocean beach, cliffs of coloured sand, spectacular dunes, tall rainforests growing on sand and half of the world's perched lakes.
Learn how wind, sand, water and plants work together in an endless cycle to create this unique island.

Connectivity
There is limited connectivity on the island and many locations may have weak or no cellular signal. Download the App before travel to the Island for off-line access to maps, detailed itineraries and points of interest, educational information and travel and safety advice. This App requires a connection to either a Wi-Fi or cellular data network in order access the most up-to-date information.
