I'm a novice when it comes to identifying marine species, but this app makes it surprisingly easy. Within a minute, I was able to positively ID both a ray (cowtail/feathertail sting ray) and a shark (juvenile Blacktip) that I'd spotted in the shallow lagoon on my morning beach walk. There are several photos for each species, crisp and zoom-able, and the detailed notes are clearly laid out. 5/5. I'm looking forward to the digital versions of the other marine books in this series!
