I was hoping this app would play the standard tone for the US phone system which indicates a phone number is no longer in use, but the sound it plays is something else. Perhaps the Disconnected tone for another country. But the app description does not indicate what country that might be, if any. There also seem to be a lot of layers of menu for an app that does only one thing. Also, the screenshots in the Play store don't seem to match the actual app interface. (No big red button? C'mon!)
