About this app

This app is a school project. It is a remote control for simple robots built with the Arduino101 board and Adafruit v2 motor shield, like the one here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1674749 . For more details on how to build robots that can be controlled from the app, press the "Help" button on the main screen of the app.

The Ardroid app communicates through Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) with the robot. It allows driving the robot (with the touchscreen or by tilting the phone) and moving individual DC or stepper motors, with a variety of possible motor arrangements. It also has a simple scripting language to write sequences of actions for the robot to complete. The scripting language is designed to be as simple as possible to use, with no programming experience required.

Please leave any feedback, bug reports, and feature requests.

New features

Much faster and more reliable Bluetooth communications, along with many user interface improvements.

Other changes:
- Improve user interface scaling on larger screens, and when the keyboard is open
- Fixed an issue that caused DC motor 4 and stepper motor 2 not to work
- Fixed a bug with running an empty script
- Improve help and documentation

The previous release (v1.04) added support for multiple motor shields (up to 8 connected motors).
