Ashokenagar Adarsha Balika Vidyalaya is a much adored name ever uttered with pride by the people of Ashokenagar and this pride is shared by everyone whoever is directly or indirectly associated with this institution. This widely discussed and reputed institution has reached its both anniversary on 9th January 2015 which is a great matter of pride and joy to us .The school has taken a leading place among the well-known institutions of the area by virtue of its high ideals and lucid fighting spirit . It is high time to pay our homage to those who tirelessly had rendered life time service as well as sacrifice to raise this institution to this adorable position.
Some unfortunate people uprooted from their motherland felt the urgent need of education to bring them a rich and prestigious life. They also realised that mothers should be educated first to get the future generation educated . Inspired by this thought Respected Ashit Ranjan Das Gupta ,the founder secretary along with Respected Binod Behari Bandyopadhyay , Bireshwar Chakraborty and Satish Chandra Ghosh set up their institution of their dream Ashokenagar Adarsha Balika Vidyalaya overcoming countless adversities on their way.
This great effort by some keen people keen for education has become successfully in the true sense of the term , unnumbered students who crossed the threshold of this great institution throughout years. Many of them are renowned personalities in their own country and abroad. Their success extends from teaching in schools and colleges upto research work in their homeland and abroad. Sometimes their success to administrative works, to medical and engineering professions and even to famous singers and dancers.
This tradition however is continued even today by those who come to study here. This keep the prestigious institution going even more proudly by their brilliant performance not only in the field of education but also in that of sports and culture.
