This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Cex Chex - Trade in Scanner on PC Windows and Mac.

Do not download , waste of time and money. After every item scanned it then links you to the website. Lots of error messages popping up too.

Works well, scans item then takes you to the cex website which shows you the buy/sell/trade price for the scanned item. Interface design looks abit scrappy but this doesn't effect functionality.

The app just takes you to the web site once u scan a barcode. Doesn't give u a price..In reply to those asking what my problem is.The fact is the app doesn't work for me..tried it on ps3 games..cd's..dvd's..had an email making suggestions how to rectify the problem and it still doesn't work..if it works for others then great..it doesn't for me hence 1 star..I feel the other raters, from their similar posts, are friends of the developers. If am wrong I apologise. Just my gut feeling

The application works by scanning the barcode on the item. It has been tested on Playstation, Xbox and Nintendo DS games, aswell as DVDs, CDs, and Blu-Rays showing high functionality. It should function correctly with any item with a barcode - if no results appear, the item either isn't sold at Cex, or has been filed differently than expected.

This application also allows you to search the barcode with the Google search engine, and search eBay for the item (requires your browser to be in 'desktop view').
There is also an In App Scanner, which allows the user to find Cex information without leaving the app.
