Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing PUP D-One on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

About this app

PUP D-One allows you to control your Lego Powered-Up train (both A and B ports) using your Android device (smartphone or tablet).

You can save up to 9 different trains.

Each time you connect a new train, follow this procedure:
- switch on the device bluetooth and the train bluetooth;
- in the "setting" menu tap on the SCAN button. The app will identify the Bluetooth Address of the train. Save it and rename the train if you want.

For driving the train:
- switch on the device bluetooth and the train bluetooth;
- in the "connection" menu tap on the SCAN button. When the connection bar becomes yellow, tap on the CONNECT button. When the connection is established, the connection bar becomes green and the train light is on.
- select the "drive" menu.
- drive & enjoy!

Setting page buttons:
SAVE: save the displayed configuration (overwriting the eventual modified fields)
ADD: add a new configuration (the displayed configuration will be duplicated)
DELETE: remove the displayed configuration
RESET: restore the factory configuration (the BLE address will need to set again)
SCAN: identify the BLE address of the train

Connection page buttons:
SCAN: find the active train (the BLE address must be alredy saved in the setting page and the train must be selected in the connection page)
CONNECT: connect to the detected train
DISCONNECT: disconnect
LEFT/RIGHT ARROW: select the train configuration saved in the setting page

Drive page buttons:
LAMP: switch the lamp on/off (if connected in the B port)
LEFT ARROW: increase/decrease the speed according to the train direction
STOP: stop the train
RECYCLE ARROWS:
RIGHT ARROW: increase/decrease the speed according to the train direction
LIGHTING: reverse the direction of the speed buttons
