Argentine Tango Radio buffers constantly, even over a WiFi connection. There's no buffering if I listen using a wired PC on the same network. Too bad. I really wanted to use this in the garden, garage, etc.

About this app

The app streams Argentine Tango Radio, an online radio station from Budapest that plays danceable tangos, valses and milongas, predominantly from the 1930s and 1940s, all day long. The musical selection is provided by DJ Balazs Gyenis.

The app can stream music while it runs in the background (music playing automatically stops upon an incoming phone call) so you can conveniently go about your business while listening to tango music.

The app also has a very basic built-in web browser that lets you wander around the internet from an inside window while the app's play button and the volume slider is still accessible on-screen. The main page features links to the tango radio blog/support page, to Todotango etc., as well as an embedded tango radio news and programming stream, Budapest milonga calendar and events listed on the milongainfo.hu facebook group (FB account is not required for reading!).

New features

Some users reported difficulties with the old streaming link, hopefully the new will work on all devices.
