This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing QR scanner. QR code generator. No Ads and Free! on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

It actually has ads. They place a very misleading advertisement blockade when you use the QR code generator. So every time someone clicks your QR code that you created, they get intercepted by the ad. It's effectively useless.

After using many QR scanner Apps, this one is the best. It's without Ads and free. Comes with history records that allow me to check where I were.

Didn't work for me but at least no ads galore like on other scanners. The issue was that on the qr code I was scanning, there was a faint grid between the cells, and the code had light, yellow squares on dark grey background. I had to erase the grid and invert colors, then it worked. Also the vibration on successful scan is almost impossible to feel. A note on screen would help a lot.

it doesn't want to focus or adjust the brightness, I have to press the "flash" icon that doesn't activate the flash but rather seems to allow the app to adjust the brightness and triggers a "focus" action... but then it's fix at that focus.... I'd rate it 1 star but it gets 3 because no ads and its most likely just because of Android (8.0) and my phone (cat s41)

No ads and works fine. Slightly slow on my mobile phone bit sure if it's the app or my phone.

After installing it I use it for the first time and I got a message that the monthly limit has been reached! What the hell! So the link didn't open because apparently I used up my monthly allowance even though I hadn't used it yet
