During exercises when I click on a wrong answer there is no possibility to get a hint for the right solution. So the learning effect tends to zero. Aside from that you have to install Adobe Air which is completely unnecessary.

It's pretty good app, but it doesn't work correctly from the update in nexus 4.3. When I enter in the app after 5 minutes of running it brakes down. All the rest is okey but If you might do the favor of fixing the problem it would be great.

I've never met a great app like this! Very interesting, it help us to memorize the phrasal verbs with short animation's meanings and it is very important because usually we forget the definition or the traduction of strange word but when we have in mental the picture it help us to remember the meaning of the world, and it's exactly the job of this app, help us to memorize not only by the definition or traduction of the phrasal verbs but also by a really interesting short animation of the meaning! As a TEFL teacher, I can highly recommend this free app by Cambridge. Phrasal verbs can be tricky to teach and difficult for the students to grasp, therefore this a fantastic extra resource to have in the arsenal. Did I mention that it is free?

It's a must have app for those who want to improve English. We found using phrasal verbs is very difficult when writing/speaking a correct and good English. I really thank the publisher and everyone who participates in the implementation of this excellent application.

About this app

- At Cambridge University Press, we know that Phrasal verbs are complicated for non-native English speakers to learn and use. We also know that it's essential to use them if we want our writing and speaking to sound natural. However, studying unending lists doesn't seem to be the best way to learn and use them efficiently. Phrasal verbs are, more than anything, action. And action must be visual. The more visually stimulating the learning, the better we will understand and assimilate the phrasal verbs.

- That's why we decided to reach out to The Amazing Phraso, our phrasal verb expert, to see if he could help us with the visual part. In this application, we can find animated illustrations of 100 phrasal verbs set in the circus world of our main character Phraso and his friends.

- Frequently, phrasal verbs can have more than one meaning. In the examples we've chosen, you can sometimes find the most common and well-known meaning while other times we use the more obscure one. In any case, you can always find an example sentence in English and the translation into five different languages. We've also included other meanings when they are useful or necessary to fully understand the phrasal verb.

- We hope that the Phrasal Verbs Machine will help you lose your fear of phrasal verbs and show you that, with the right tools, using them is easier than it looks. We hope you find it useful!
