This series of paintings look surprisingly fresh even after many years. Chun Shan was my high school teacher whom I never met. I learned about him after I dropped out and saw his work at National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts. He was the pioneer and the only advanced abstract artist of our time. His work has never been seen fully as it is here.
