charming artwork and excelent sound quality set this app apart from all the other available kana training options -- i almost forgot stroke order instruction ... all available under one inexpensive 'icon roof'. one would expect the sound quality in this app to be the standard, but no others to date (and i have tried tham all) meet this standard of quality. this is a wonderful addition to the many quiz apps available, and will reduce the drudgery making study and review a much more enjoyable experience

darugo's HIRAGANA PRACTICE NOTES for Air - VERSION WITH PRONUNCIATION GUIDE -

**This app is the (ex-)Air app version of "darugo's HIRAGANA PRACTICE NOTES".
**This version was needed Adobe Air though, current version is already no need Adobe Air.

This Application (app) requires Android version 5.0 or better.

This app is designed to help you learn Japanese Hiragana characters. Each character comes with a word usage example containing a cute (Kawaii) Japanese Manga picture. Pronunciation for each Hiragana and word examples are recorded by a native Japanese girl.

The 'Stroke Order feature' lets you learn how to write Hiragana properly with the correct stroke order. You can also practice your writing by tracing the copybook in the app.
By using the OK button, you can mark the characters you mastered. A Hiragana once marked as such changes its color so that it's easy for you to distinguish which ones you have mastered.
The bar graph shown in the menu screen also helps you keep track of the progress of your study.
Hiragana characters you have trouble learning can be marked with the Check button. The ones marked with Check also change their color to help you identify those you have not mastered yet.
