I have to uninstall and reinstall on my tablet everyday or the app won't open, why cant we download all the lessons? I can't stand having to download each lesson before we leave the house and the having to uninstall and reinstall before I can download the next days lesson is frustrating!

Some of the math problems have the wrong answers. When I did a math problem with rounding, they rounded up when that made their answer incorrect. Loading screen is glitchy and sometimes the app shuts down after being on the loading screen for a couple of seconds. UPDATE: I was doing another math lesson and I typed in 1.00 for the answer. I got it wrong becase the answer was 1. Those answers are literally the same! I typed in 1.00 because it was a problem related to money.

We are a homeschool family and have used this program since the beginning. We started with CD and went through all the upgrades. This version works great. We had some bugs but that was because our Mac wasn't updated. We have a mid 2011 Mac and it said we didn't have any updates when I checked. It actually said it didn't support anymore updates. However, this is not true. You can download your next update straight from Apple store and do it that way. Once we updated it worked fine.

An overall bad application, the intro screen lags, constantly crashes along with huge lag spikes, and the guys voice that plays before every lesson is so annoying. Lessons are also way too long, they're in the mid twenties when they should probably be in the late tens. Straight up not usable on HP Chromebooks (at least to my knowledge). If I could give it 0 stars I would. P.S. When a flash run website runs better than your app, you should probably redisign it.

I dont like that i dont have an option to read the lecture, and i dont like that he reads every single problem, this is something i would like to be able to turn off. The app also doesnt work well on my chromebook, it will often close itself or tell me the app isnt responding. This kinda forces me to do math on my tiny phone screen and i dont like that.

About this app

The Teaching Textbooks Algebra 1 app makes your TT course even better! Not only will your student enjoy math while learning independently, but, with the app, that learning can also take place on the go. Even when offline! Specifically, the app can be used offline for up to 6 lessons at a time. That makes it perfect for homeschool parents who need their kids to stay productive while the family is out and about during the day.
The app’s other features include…
• 142 audiovisual lectures that teach every core concept in the standard 9th grade curriculum
• thousands of problems that give students all the practice they need to master each concept
• automated grading and instant feedback for every single problem
• step-by-step audiovisual explanations to every single problem so students can see exactly what they did wrong when mistakes are made (This makes the program feel as if a tutor is at the student’s side!)
• parental controls that let you track your student’s progress
• the digitized version of the printed Teaching Textbooks Algebra 1 textbook (with a search feature and a hyper-linked index)
• no advertising or in-app purchase offers
