4 stars because this is nearly as good as using the real blocks, and I haven't found any other app that simulates pattern blocks (or any other manipulative, really). If the developers added a few key features, this might be my all-around favorite app. Specifically, there is no way to select more than one block at a time for moving, rotating or copying. If I want to repeat a particular pattern, I have to do so one block at a time. It doesn't take long for this to become prety tedious.
