I'm a 100% disabled veteran and was denied by the city of Hampton for my tax exemption because the house is not in both of our names I did it only for litigation purposes after I pass away so my wife wouldn't have to fight to keep the house so no the city of Hampton is not veteran friendly, heck they dont even have a veterans day parade or celebration.
