This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Pedal Pedo on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

About this app

Welcome to Pedal Pedo.

This app is designed for use by cyclists, dog walkers and people who like to exercise by walking or jogging (or even driving).

This app requires a smartphone or tablet with GPS location service active as it uses this feature to track your current speed, distance traveled (odometer), top achieved speed all in both Miles and Kilometers. elapsed time and current altitude are also displlayed.

You may also view a track of your your journey overlayed on an online map anytime if you use mobile data, or on WIFI when you get back to base where you can establish a WIFI connection. You may choose a Google Map view or an Open Street Maps view of your track.*

Your device screen remains active for viewing. To save battery power, on some devices, you can turn the screen off with your power button. The app will continue to run and record your travel statistics.

* Note: for personal privacy reasons the map and track data are not saved online or on your device. As well, your device ID is not read or recorded or transmitted in any way.

Please note that generally the newer your phone/gps sensor the better the performance of this app.
