Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Writing School Items on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

About this app

This program helps the student to learn to write School Items words (Ex. Board). This program can be used with a finger or a stylus. The program allows the child to select color, and with a guiding arrow for help or without help or Autoplay which lets the student watch as the apps write the school Items words. This program can be used by kindergarten children or learning-disabled children of various ages.

These choices are summarized here:

Settings

User can select one of the two options, which are:

1. Writing Words with Help

Here the word appears on the screen with guiding arrow and the program voice says (for instance) “Follow the arrow to write "BOARD’”. Then when the student correctly writes “BOARD” an animated board appears

2. Writing Words without Help

Here the word appears on the screen without guiding arrow and the program voice says (for instance) “Write ‘BOARD’”. Then when the student correctly writes “BOARD” an animated board appears

3. Writing Words Autoplay

Here the word appears on the screen with guiding arrow and the program voice says (for instance) “Watch. Here's how to write ‘BOARD’”, BOOK automatically writes “BOARD” and after that an animated board appears.

Screen Display

Color
This selects the color of the letter that appears on the screen. Colors offered are Red, Green, Brown, Yellow, Blue, and Black.

Letter Type
Big Letter
This option is selected by default. When this is checked, the word displayed on the screen will be in big or capital letters.

Small Letter
When this is checked, the word displayed on the screen will be in small letters

Select All
Check this box to select all school items words. Uncheck to deselect.
