This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing VoiceThread on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.

The user interface and ability to rotate videos in this app are trash. Do better.

Constantly has errors, trouble submitting assignments. I downloaded this app because my professor required it. It works sometimes but VERY often displays an error message when trying to open and/or submit an assignment. The only option is to repeatedly close and reopen the app and hope that it eventually works. I often have to wait hours to submit a very basic assignment. The ratings given to this app are telling and if it weren't required for my college course I would not use it.

The app is so amazing

Wanted to use this app for my class but it does not work. In the sign in page it redirects you to the browser to sign in, but it doesn't go back to the app once you are signed in on browser. So effectively this app is a button to sign into Voice Thread on web browser.

App sucks. Nothing ever loads. You have to login so many times just to get on one time. Please never use this app for classes

Does not work on google chrome. Poorly optimized, an awful experience. Just use the base portal for the school you're working for, and have the students upload an mp3 or mp4 audio or video file, if it's that important.
