This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Shakespearify on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

This is amazing! I can sit for hours just typing in anything and everything and it actually gives me a real Shakespeare language equivalent! Can't believe it actually works! So much fun, I love it.

About this app

Shakespearify is a fun little app which lets you convert anything from modern English to Shakespearean at the touch of a button. Translate song lyrics, text messages, movie scripts, quotes ... anything your creative little minds can think of, and then press "send" to see the animated Shakespeare quickly take your words and turn them into a thing of Elizabethan beauty.

Featuring a regularly updated dictionary of over 15,000 words, Shakespearify will attempt to convert most things into an elaborate, and often amusing, old-world sentence. This Shakespearean translator app also features a "copy to clipboard" function, allowing you to quickly copy out translations and paste them into text messages, emails, facebook statuses, and more. Dazzle your friends, or communicate with a bestie in a language only the two of you will probably understand.

Because our dictionary is stored online, we can update it any time we find a problem, and this in turn keeps the download size of our app very small. However, this does mean you will require an internet connection to use the app. A fully offline version of the app will be available soon, though.
