I really like it's fast and simple . However it seems that the most recent added contact is not appearing in the list properly at the top . I add contacts and they are not at the top . I don't know if there's a bug or there was a change but it's not working for me anymore. Also I would suggest There should be the ability to pick the default account where a contact is saved. Right now keep saving to my phone even though I have the display phone contacts on my phone turned off.

This used to be one of my very favorite apps. I love that you can send a text message with your name in it as part of the process of adding a contact. However, it does not seem compatible with Verizon Message+ app. It cannot successfully send your name in a text if you use Verizon message+. I hope this is fixed so I can start using this again.

How about an option to add multiple contacts at the same time? the fields repeated thrice or five times -would help people adding a bunch of new contacts at their club and such.

I needed it for my Mom who is not very Techno-Friendly , She is just so much delighted by its Simplicity and Ease of use. Thank You for such a nice app.

Seems the voice microphone is quirky when trying to add digits, so it would be nice to just default to the dialpad after voice recording a person's name. Had to press the number field twice before the dialpad would appear after voice recording a person's name. Besides that, pretty simple and like the "text name" feature with a configurable name to text upon adding the new contact.

About this app

As of December 2015, Add Contact is used to add roughly 300 contacts per day and users spent on average 5 seconds per contact.

Add Contact provides 3 functions to simplify adding new contacts:

1. Add a new contact from a dialpad. Optionally an SMS with your name will be sent to the new contact.

2. View your contacts in most recently added order.

3. Add a new contact directly from an SMS message containing that contacts name.

Add Contact IS meant to make it fast to add new contacts and easy to access them right away. If you want to add mobile numbers of new friends (or enemies) more quickly or see your most recently added contacts, this is the app for you.

Add Contact IS NOT a dedicated contact manager. If you want a manager that allows you to input a number, email, business, address etc all at once, this is not the app for you.

If you are looking for a dedicated contact manager, checkout Dossier. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=basic.dossier
