KRIMEWATCH IS AN APPLICATION THAT HELPS TO REDUCE SUSPECT INCIDENTS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. IT IS A CLOUD-BASED SOLUTION WITH MULTIPLE COMPONENTS INTEGRATED WITH TO EACH OTHER. THE FIRST COMPONENT IS WEB BASED. IT HAS TWO MOBILE APP USER TYPES 1. KRIMEWATCH FOR PEOPLE 2.KWACTION FOR ACTION TEAMS. THERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT LEVELS OF PERMISSIONS IN KRIMEWATCH FOR PEOPLE 1.KRIMEWATCH MOBILE APP USERS 2.KRIMEWATCH MOBILE APP MONITORING SUBSCRIBERS.
When mobile users capture the suspect incidents happening in their premises and upload, it leaves no particularities of the mobile device. It sends encrypted evidence video to the control station via cloud computing solution along with the GPS location and timestamp. All the people who install this app on their mobile will be mobile app users. There is another level of paid subscription where the users can receive people alerts from the local control station. Monitoring officers at the control station view the incident video and decide the intensity of the incident. Based on the intensity, the officers will act accordingly.
For instance, a child has been kidnapped in a car. The witness will note the number plate, color of the car, and other specifications that will be helpful for the incident. Once the incident has been uploaded into the control station, the monitoring officers will trigger a people alert with the available specifications and a brief description of the precautions that need to be taken. All the people who have installed this mobile app in that neighborhood will receive a people alert about the incident with the details.
In this scenario, the control station needs to track and capture incidents further of the suspect. People who detect the same suspect with the provided car details can capture additional incidences of proof or evidence video. This will add a link to the original incident. Law enforcement authorities further investigate Krime with all related incidents that are captured to the original incident.
The Monitoring officer sends action alerts to the action team. In response, the action team in that area will receive the action team alerts. The action alert provides all the details regarding the incident and the specific details that are available. It also provides directions to the incident location. Action team members can take additional incident videos while taking the action for the incident which will be attached to the original incident. And the action team member who is dealing with the situation can request more help and force.
In this scenario, the suspect is retaliating with force and the action team member is not able to arrest the suspect, they can request additional help from the action team. An additional action team is assigned by the monitoring officer and directed to the spot. Once the action team solves the issue and arrest the suspect, the action team member will add action comments on the incident and close the incident.
