Updating my previous rating of three stars to just two stars. The most recent update has made the game so glitchy that I can't even hardly play it. When I drag my fingers across the screen it almost never gets the letters the first time, causing me wasted time. And the pop-up at the end asking if I want an extra 30 seconds for 100 coins is ridiculous. The whole idea of the game is to be good at the game, or at least it was. Now whoever is willing to spend the most money on a game gets to win 😡

When the scoring structure changed for team play I knew it was going to go downhill from there. With a 1 or 2 person team, you still didn't earn the total available points even if you came in first place! Reading other reviews I see I was absolutely right about other/more NEGATIVE CHANGES! After playing this (my fav game) for probably over 10 yrs, I'm not sorry for getting rid of it a year or 2 ago.

Used to love this game. But the developers are more and more sacrificing enjoyment for profit. As others have noted, boosters are almost essential now, but are more arduous to earn from too many ads. And in team play, instead of having a decent spread of different level opponents to play against, now the odds are almost always stacked against you for losing, making it harder to avoid having to buy the boosters. As a long-time player, I'm deeply disappointed in the choices made by the developers.

Ruzzle has become so ad-heavy that it locks up constantly. Incessant ads freeze multiple times while playing. I have 110MBPS speed, fairly new phone, NO issues with any other aspect of phone but Ruzzle. It used to be my favorite game. Now it is a chore to play, waiting for the ads to load or stop freezing. (I bought app on iPad but, even though I sign in to account on phone, Ruzzle on phone doesn't believe I have paid. Do we have to pay for every device?)

Game has been laggy and crashes after I open it. I did mot start having issues until about 8 weeks ago...the game would crash as soon as you tried to play but upon reopening it it would work ok. Now in the past 2 weeks game is severly slow or crashes each time I open it. I am using same phone, same internet with no other programs or changes. In fact this is the only game I ever want on my phone. Hopefully it can be fixed soon...I'm withdrawing from the game and need my Ruzzle!

Way too heavily monetized for a game I've already paid for. So they keep trying to get you to buy a credit pack for $20 which is an insane price but the popup comes up a lot. The daily rewards popup is nearly always there and they aren't even rewards, you have to watch an ad or complete a survey to get them. Great game though
