This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing iSenseVR S2 DWP (Unreleased) on PC Windows and Mac.

About this app

This application is designed to work with Google Cardboard to achieve the full immersive experience.

After downloading the app will request your participant ID to enrol in the study, after you set up your profile, you won't need to do it again. Your participant ID should be provided by the DWP and should be in visible on the documentation you have been given.

The objective of the study is for you to complete one mission that will take place on a VR representation of Shettleston Jobcentre Plus every 2 days, the level will unlock at 10AM of the second day.
After you complete the level’s missions, you will be asked to complete a short questionnaire while still wearing the VR headset.

About the project

We know we cannot control the unexpected variables thrown in with every environment we visit. We believe our Virtual Reality (VR) Project iSenseVR, enhanced through the VR Exposure Therapy (VRET) concept, can make it easier for individuals with anxiety and hypersensitivities to overcome the barriers they may experience.

iSenseVR allows users of our app to visit virtual representations of real environments. On this version, the virtual environment represents Shettleston Jobcentre Plus.

iSenseVR was created as a part of a pilot study 'Dynamic Interactive Navigation for Familiarisation and Desensitisation' and is under ongoing development. This project has been researched, tested and applied by our co-creation partners Friendly Access, Crag3D Ltd and the School of Simulation & Visualisation (SimVis) @ The Glasgow School of Art, this project is funded by the European Social Fund & Social Innovation Fund through The Scottish Government.
