You can literally skip each mission and finish the entire game in 30 seconds, fix your game please.

This was a cool adventure app, but it does not stand alone. You need the brochure at Mount Vernon to be able to complete the puzzles. There is also a part of the game in the education center that is not mentioned in the app. Also, once you leave the site, you can't go back and read the story or show others your accomplishments because the application is disabled off site. Feels like a beta, not a finished package.

Very unexplanatory and the compass pointing you towards the landmark is bad and leads you in the wrong direction and you can hit the taskbar and hit do the activity for me and get everything done in less than 5 minutes

About this app

Agent 711: Revolutionary Spy Adventure App is a smartphone-based, interactive adventure designed for ages 10 and up. The Spy App will take its users across the Mount Vernon Estate as they seek to solve various challenges in the service of George Washington and his spy ring. Spy recruits will utilize Revolutionary-era spycraft to solve each of the eight sequential challenges. Revolutionary war ciphers, secret ink, hidden messages, and careful observation of the enemy all play a key part in this challenge.

The game can be downloaded to any Android device with OS version 4.4.4 or newer. Guests can also rent devices at Mount Vernon that will allow them to participate in the challenge.

The game utilizes bluetooth iBeacon sensors and GPS to help with the gameplay. Proximity to certain designated spots will trigger actions on the smartphone screen. For this reason bluetooth and location services must be activated on the device during gameplay.

Players will also be given a guide that includes a code book, Revolutionary War newspaper, game map, and other helpful instructions. Items are available for pick-up on the Mount Vernon Estate at the Ford Orientation Center, Educational Center or Lady Washington Shop.

Once a player has successfully completed all the challenges, they will receive a personal message from Agent 711 and a gold wristband, to replace their original blue one.

The Spy App includes a number of social media sharing opportunities and access to educational content on Revolutionary War spycraft and the world of espionage in George Washington’s time.

PLEASE NOTE: Agent 711: Revolutionary Spy Adventure App is designed to be played exclusively on the Mount Vernon Estate. Visitors wishing to play must purchase a daily admission ticket or hold a Mount Vernon membership offering unlimited visits to the Estate.
