I like the story for the most part. It just seems like it needs to be longer to make the stories feel like they matter and to incorporate them into the ending. The ending feels extremely rushed and there isn't really a satisfying payoff. Also, there are a couple of code errors. One of them is that a flag appears in the story text because there is a space between the * and flag name. The other is that one of the stories seemingly doesn't have a completion flag, so it can be played repeatedly.

The game is not very entertaining. The choices do not really seem to matter as ultimately you can just redo the story without any reprecussions. The stories unlock as you complete the main free ones and must be brought to continue. Is not worth buying. The customer support on this choice of games does not respond.

I do not like to be a weak link in real life so why would i want that in a type game that is supposed to entertain me not piss me off i can't pay for that i'll finish both books before i decide or how much it lets me play free but it isn't looking good

Having only played the two free books, I'm left fully convinced I don't need to pay for more - partially because Dragons and Devices was rather poorly put together and partially because The Mansion of D'Anjou is just a light rewrite of a chapter from a CYOA book I've already paid for. Even in that book, that story didn't fit in well, much less in here. Disappointing.
