I downloaded this app like a month into quarantine and I love it. I actually got really into it and can confidently say I know morse code now! (With the exception of punctuation because that cost money). I've tried other morse code apps before but this is the first one I actually felt worked. **EDIT because I read the nice comment yall left on my review, I totally understand and honestly? I'm gonna go pay the fee because you're great and I want to support you! Thanks again for the great app!!!

The best app to learn morse code! Well designed. The app is pretty and easy to use. The short lessons make learning morse code more effective. It will only take you a week to learn the basics if you're willing to delicate 10 minutes a day to use tbe app. The cost for the premium version is not expensive at all, only $3! I really recommend it.

I absolutely love this app! I've tried so many others before this one and this one is most definently my favorite! I love this app! It's easier to learn and practice Morse code with it, you probably won't be able to become fluent with just the basic version, but it gets you to a level where you know every letter pretty fast :) the paid version sounds interesting, but I haven't tried it yet. As for the design, is clean and pleasant, makes the app easy to use.

This app is pretty great for learning Morse code just from listening. However, I think it would also be a good idea for it to give you a letter and ask you to properly tap it in yourself as well! That would really lock in the learning for me. Overall amazing app!

In response to the devs: While I already keep ambient sounds on with my earphones, I turned on the app's background noises and it plays a very low white noise which was very distracting and made me feel nauseous. While the game is okay, there are problems with the sound sometimes. Sometimes the first sound cuts out so it sounds like a dot and I get it wrong because it didn't right. While I think the app is good, that issue is very problematic and makes it a huge unneeded challenge.

Morse Mania is a fun and educational game that helps you master the Morse code by advancing through 270 exciting levels in either audio, visual or vibration mode.

In both the receiving and sending modes, the app starts with the easiest letters (E and T) and moves to more complicated ones. Once you master all the letters, it teaches you numbers and other symbols, and then proceeds to Prosigns, Q-codes, abbreviations, words, Callsigns, phrases and sentences.

- Adjustable speed: from 5 to 45 WPM (words per minute). Less than 20 is not recommended though, as it doesn't help you to actually learn the language.
- Adjustable sound frequency: 400 to 1000 Hz.
- Adjustable Farnsworth speed: from 5 to 45 WPM. Determines how long are the spaces between letters.
- Adjustable difficulty level for sending the Morse code.
- Disable/enable the progress circle in Settings.
- Settings for progress speed, review time, time pressure and lives in challenges.
- Setting for background noise: to better support some Bluetooth earphones that keep disconnecting from the phone while you play, or just to make it more challenging.
- Ability to jump to the past levels to revise, or skip some if you're already familiar with certain characters.
- Ability to reset mistakes and levels.
