There are many things that I appreciate about this particular app. I am a puzzle-head and have strong preferences concerning the specifics of layout and options. I hate a running clock, but like seeing how long it took to solve after. Being raised in the world of spellcheck, my spelling is atrocious. Here I can turn on the 'highlight incorrect letters' and it makes the entire experience more pleasant. The available tweaks and options make this a near universal crowd pleasing crossword app.

Great crossword puzzle game, with just a few ads. The only thing is that if you open text app to check your messages, while playing this game, upon returning to it you won't be able to type or erase. I have to restart every time. Otherwise totally recommend for crossword afficionados. Easy, medium, hard, and very hard. No hints, but does have answers, if you really need it. Thinking I'll pay for the full thing - lots and lots of puzzles to complete. 1 star off for the typing issue.

It's good to have a large number of puzzles to do now and then, but the authors have very little originality. You'll find yourself repeating the same three to six answers in every puzzle of a set with clues that barely differ. Recently I did three puzzles in a row where the author just made one answer plural to get a second answer (ex. atlas and atlases connected by the first a. The clues: book of maps and books of maps)

The app is aight. Huge selection of crosswords, easy to use, most of them seem to be made by semi-intelligent humans. Then you get the Myles Mellor guy making grammatically incorrect clues with answers that, even if the clue didn't say "staffs" instead of "staves" despite the author presumably having attended an English elementary school, would still be wrong. Guess these puzzles are labeled "Very Hard" because there's no logical solution and reading the clues causes a stroke

Best crossword app! They have crosswords of all levels, minimal ads, and an easy way to search the web in case you need a little cheat. The only thing is that the price to go premium keeps going up. I should've bought a year ago when it was $4.99 because it was changed to $8.99 and now $9.99. Greedy. Edit 4/16/21: LOLOL premium is now $12.99 and I will never give them my money.

I really love this. There are more puzzles than you'll ever need, of varying difficulties, and they add more all the time. I use it to relax before bed. My only complaint is that a few of the puzzles have spelling errors. For example, the one I just finished, the answer should have been "beer goggles", but it was "beer googles". Other crossword puzzles I've played give you the option to report errors. That would be helpful.
