Don't litter the forest! You'll turn into a pig – that is the main message of the Latvian State Forests environmental campaign and its most vivid character, Pigman, who has been visiting various places across Latvia since 2005. Application Infinite Forest, developed in collaboration with the Latvian Environmental Protection Fund, features Pigman and is meant to educate preschool and elementary school children on why garbage has no place in forests, as well as to motivate them to think about the true values of a forest – fresh air, wildlife, and the opportunity to obtain timber, which can be renewed and used to manufacture goods people need.
Infinite Forest offers four game environments:
1) Spot the odd one out!
2) Connect pairs!
3) True or false?
4) Clean up the forest!
You can also visit the recreational area of Latvian state forests and listen to Forest Tales or watch Pigman's videos.
