The combat gets dull pretty easy. It's cute, the story is ok but the gatcha is awful. It takes two forms of currency to roll. You need 150 pulls to guarantee the unit you want (250 for special limited units). You'd have to go well over the coin currency cap to get enough for 150. You can hold over it but it stops you from doing a daily and collecting passive coins. And for the special units, they require special items to limit break (max level increase) or repeats of the same unit.

It is a really good game and all but feels kind of empty once complete the campaign. Thankfully there are frequent updates so at least there's that. My main complain is that it takes 50 seal crystals to summon for a character which after you finish the campaign it takes some time to gather so either they should lower the number of seal crystals for a summon or make them easier to gather for a summon, that would really help.

As a person who hasn't played an actual touhou game until this game, inspired me to play TH6-9, I thought the game play was fun early on but gets repetitive. The auto feature really kills the gameplay, early on they give you a lot of prayers but after you spend most of the cubes you get you can only get them from doing daily tasks and errands, the premium currency is extremely hard to get to getting anywhere from 1 to 10 in small timestamps, and a lack of characters early game makes a boss hard.

I've been a fan of touhou for many years so i'm happy to see my favourite characters in the game. I like the story however it isn't very challenging. What lets it down is the summoning. I think you should be guarenteed a friend every three or so multis because honestly grinding for 5 multis and not even getting on character is horrendous.

I'd say 4, it's not that bad and it's really grindy in my perspective (heck i can grind for up to 5 hours a day) but overall it's something that adds more story to the franchise if you're a fan of lore and cute dialogues as a touhou fan this'll be just okay as an experience. The grind is decent but they could be more forgiving with the "high tier units" that have been simultaneously happening recently

A great game! I havent played any touhou games yet, but this is a great game on its own, my only real complaint is the event character, example being scarlet witch marisa is fine being a character you can get, but when her name and face are always shown where you cant miss it, it kinda ruins the mystery aspect of what made chapter 1 interesting, as chapter 2 you already know who the witch is due to the drop rate increase, its not a big nitpick, but it breaks what made the first chapter fun
