I am liking the game but I wondered if there might be some things I am missing. The upgrades are not clear when reading them or they are not impactful in an interesting way. Not being able to see exactly what the upgrade will do makes experimentation not as fun. Not all of the choices in the story are impactful like the wisps dancing around the cloth, always leads to a fight. In replaying the story is the same so I just end up clicking through dialog once I have seen all options. More randomization would be fun and add to replay-ability. The game is hard, but it doesn't feel like the runs are different enough to make it exciting to restart like Slay the Spire, Deadcell, or Hades. I am still giving it a 4/5 because the gameplay is fun and the art is solid.

The most fun I've had with a mobile game. I was on a mission to find a fun, non-gatcha game that I could pick up and put down. I found a few OK ones, but this is the best by far. It looks great, has intuitive/responsive touch controls, sits in a great hard-but-fair spot for a roguelike, and has just the right amount of RNG for the most part. The UI is really well done. Mechanics are clearly explained and easy to access. If you don't know what a buff does, tap on it. Every card comes with explanations for all its special features. Managing cards feels snappy. Really, just a great CCG roguelike. Small warning for new players: the first boss can be quite tough. if you understand how her attack works (read into Dazed!) it's not too bad. Just expect to possibly end a few runs there while you learn how to build decks out. I think my only criticism is sometimes you are simply at the mercy of RNG. Strong runs will occasionally end to a cascade of enemy attacks that you may not draw the right cards for.

Fantastic! Yes, we all know the formula but there are mechanics unique to this vision of it. Also, there's actually an interesting story to play through. I hope we see many additions to this game. I'd pay for dlc story packs or new features.

I give it 4 stars because it's an actual game and lacking in the predatory IAP bs but do note. if you can wade through all the bugs (some completely run ending) like many cards just not working, bad descriptions bad mana management and worse than any of that the need to click through seas of pointless text each and every playthrough. it's a decent card game. Though there are much better. (Seriously) I can't stress enough how annoying the mini novel is each and every playthrough.

I regret getting this game. Unfortunately some mechanics are broken and don't work. Such as cards and effects not working properly. This makes it very frustrating to lose over and over due to these inconsistencies. Would recommend you look elsewhere till these are taken care of.

The game is well designed. But it isnt well balanced. Its also not a fun thing in regard to replayability. If there were roguelite elements... Even small ones... It would make the game more interesting and fun to play.
