This app is great but the reason it's not 5 stars is because it doesn't have an overall reaction time where it averages ALL the rounds you've played, I'm fine with having a best times board but id just like something that'll calculate out my overall average because all I can really say is my reaction time is somewhere in the 190-250ms(maybe a little faster or slower) range and that to me says it needs an average.

It's great on its own, did pretty much exactly what I want, but the ads are completely ridiculous. the small ads at the bottom are fine, but the video ads are really obnoxious, and often times they're ads for some porn website or something. This is just a reaction time test with 1 extra mode and a leaderboard, I'm not paying to remove ads when there are hundreds of other apps that do the same thing free for no ads.

Although its just a simple app, i absolutely hate the ads. it places them cleverly so that you accidently click them when youre supposed to tap, it also lags the phone itself which is pretty terrible. i compared my time on pc with human benchmark and theres about a 100ms difference between the two (this app was 100ms delayed). not sure if its the input lag for touchscreen or not. Overall: The app is eh, ads are terrible, and pretty inaccurate.

Video ads are programmed to appear every 60 seconds that get in the way of using the app. there are also banner ads. the developer is unprofessional with his responses and will be sarcastic at times. As far as I can see the different modes work but ads ruins the experience.

About this app

This is a simple tool to measure your reaction time.

Response time is the sum of reaction time and movement time. Usually the focus in research is on reaction time. There are four basic means of measuring it but in this app we use only one:

- Recognition or Go/No-Go reaction time tasks require that the subject press a button when one stimulus type appears and withhold a response when another stimulus type appears.

Warning: Each device is different and there may be additional delays depending on the number of background processes and the age of the device.

Instructions:
● Touch the blue screen to begin.
● Wait for the screens turns green.
● When the screens turns green, tap on the screen quickly!
● Touch the screen again to continue to the next test.

• Now times are 50ms less because due to the delay of the screen refresh and also to the delay that exist when you press the screen and the system detects it.
