About this app

Blue Flame 3DA VR is short but immersive virtual experience. The camera slowly travels around the speedy rocket car Blue Flame, for better feeling we recommend keeping the car in your field of vision. After 3 minutes the whole cycle repeats. This app does not need any controls, just watch and enjoy the experience !

Blue Flame 3DA VR take you back in time to October 23, 1970 to Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah where the rocket-powered vehicle Blue Flame driven by Gary Gabelich set a new World Land Speed Record which lasted for more than a decade and became the first car in the history to achieve 1000km/h.
Blue Flame 3DA VR offers you the stroll through the authentic scenery of amazing Bonneville Salt Flats, allows you to admire the beautiful exterior of the rocket car and lets you look under the hood. Thats all in 3D VR. For those interested more in this topic, read the story behind the Blue Flame, remind yourself some facts, explore the unique 3D model of the vehicle.

This app is dedicated to all who have the power to design their own dreams and live them.
Celebrate the 45th anniversary of this memorable event.

Warning !
The Cardboard SDK disables the volume keys when VR mode is active to prevent the user accidentally toggle the volume keys since they are laying flush against the bottom of the viewer. If you tap the Settings gear at the bottom in VR mode, the app pops up the dialog asking if you want to configure your viewer, the volume keys are active at that point. You can adjust the volume, then hit Cancel to go back to your app.
Do not stay in VR too long (+-5 min). The application in VR mode may affect some phone functions, such as incoming calls.
