The new update has broken this game. It fails to start properly, often showing a black screen, but never fails to show ads (gotta serve those ads, make the money....). Occasionally it will show "Loading Puzzles". Only once has it actually been able to get to the game menu and let me play a game, but that took about half an hour for it to load. This seems to be another case of "If it's not broken, fix it anyway". I used to play this every day, but now cannot even get it to start. I have "Force Closed" the app, uninstalled and re-installed, but still the same bugs. I tried to report this fault on Zynga's own website, but the bug report facility there is broken. No surprises there, either. Blackview A80 Pro, Android 10.

Finish a puzzle and the game freezes, won't go back to main menu. Can't see any stats or anything as app just says "fetching data" over and over again. New look app is very buggy and I don't like the look anymore either. Go back to the way it was. Edit: seriously, don't you test the app before sending out an update? What a terrible app/game now!

Hate the new update!!! I have no idea why they needed to this in the first place! The game doesn't load properly, after finishing a puzzle the screen dims and then gets stuck, you can't even exit it. It just keeps saying fetching data, whether you try to see your profile, buy a new puzzle pack, anything!! Very disappointed with it.. it's not fun to solve the crosswords anymore.

As usual the developers have managed to break what didn't need fixing. The new interface is more difficult to use in that the puzzle is smaller and clues are both alongside and below. The highlighting of the words "Across" and "Down" cause the eye to jump there instead of to the actual clue. Showing two clues below the puzzle is likewise disconcerting because the eyes jump between the two. Just make it look like it did before!

It was fine before, but after the update with the new looks, it runs so slow. Like super slow. Snail pace. Sometimes it won't open or just open half screen, the other half Is just pitch black. The new looks is more confusing and hard on the eyes. Puzzle is not that updated though, same qs often come up Over and over

Ever since this horrible update has happened the game does not work right. It freezes. It constantly says fetching data. You finish a puzzle and it dims and stays stuck. I don't even know why it was updated what was wrong with the original version. I use to play this daily and I don't need the big boobed animated lady.
