Judging the demo on its own merits I can honestly say it has succeeded in its purpose. Unhappily Ever After rpg lite acts like an interactive trailer. I was able to evaluate the art style, sound, and control scheme in quick order. Unfortunately, progress isn't saved once the main game is downloaded but since the world is a pleasure to experience, this is more of a nuisance than anything else.

The writing is cheesy, but I still gave it a chance. The controls aren't any better. Double tapping doesn't work the way it's supposed to. Animations are pretty bad, too. I do like that you have a choice of what your character gets to say, but this game doesn't deliver.

Lost me at breadcrumbs and the horrible flashing cursor. Double clicking brings up no menu. Not fan of this type of text driven rpg. Too much clicking on single words.

The game looks like it has potential but the controls are absolutely terrible. If the menu had better controls I'd probably download it again. The graphics and gameplay are interesting enough to check back for updates.

Fan of rpg. Seems like a good game but... The lag! Ugh! I've a Galaxy S4
