It's a really good concept and fun app (5/5) However, a number of issues really drag it down. If you rotate the screen, the app crashes. If you lock your device and unlock it, the app loses where you were. Additionally, if you happen to be holding a newly purchased piece while this happens, you lose the piece and the money. I don't think I would have purchased the game had I known of these issues

Loved this game, now it won't open on my new device (Mate20 Pro). (November 2018) Still does not work in 2020. Unfortunate because I paid for this app and really did enjoy it!

Yes, Hi! Thank you for this time passing and addictive strategy game. It fairly reminds me of the early 'Command and Conquer' games. I wish you could adjust difficulty for each map on Android. PLEASE!! : )

I've been playing Slay since I was a kid. It is perfect on the mobile platform. Very fun strategy game with a ton of levels. Only complaints I have are in regards to a mobile feature and the sounds. The 'hold to march' feature is really nice when I have a lot of units but the problem is that the map scrolls when I try to hold down on a space. I like to have sounds on but sounds overlap. It would be nice to have the ability to disable select sounds because I can't hear the victory horns.

Honestly a great game. Would be 5 stars, but unfortunately there is a major bug that causes it to forget that a level has been completed, or a score has been improved on. It appears to be related to using the home button, and I've also crashed it from pressing this before. Unfortunately this is as annoying as it sounds, but the workaround looks to be only using the back button during app use.

I very "RARELY" give five stars for any app or game but I've been playing this game since before it was ported from windows 98 to android. It's a great static strategy game like chess or checkers that you can save and come back to and was one of a set of 4 games. I just wish the developer would port his "rats" game to android as well, as that was not only great to play but had pretty hilarious sounds too. (BLEARGH!)
