I understand you ran into issues with the last update, but fixed them very promptly! There are very negative reviews circling around, and I need to put an end to that. This is the best CC/Strategic WW2 simulation on mobile, yes it has rough edges ,and I could critique many minor aspects about gameplay/ergonomics/HUD... The fact is, this is an absolute goldmine of a game and has incredible potential. I'm glad you're back, throw whatever time and intuition you have at this, itll be worth it.

Changing from a 2 star review. As far as I can tell, AI has been improved. It's still less than optimal, but it does the job. Graphics, controls, UI etc. are good. The new custom game mode is great, but it still needs work which I'd imagine is on the developers checklist. Things like having a defense game mode depending on the faction your using and the year. (i.e. if your British vs. German in 1940 you're defending, but if its 1944 you're attacking). This could also make AT guns useful.

Great game honestly a bit addicted to it I just wished there was a more detailed guide about the weapons, armor, and the fatigue levels are. Other than that, this is an awesome game and totally worth the price tag good job!

I'm done with mobile games! Except for this. Been playing and modding close combat since the 90s and was wondering when this would turn up on devices. Here it is. Great job. Now perhaps a 2 player mode😅?

Add landing craft and battleships and amphibious tanks and add a feature to all of the tanks and vehicles in the game you can take all the crew out of the tanks and add Russian and Japanese campaigns and add please make American and British artillery. Please add a feature to the half-tracks they can haul the anti tank guns to different places on the map like men of war assault squad 2

Great game, almost like the close combat series. Would love to see para support or air support, more maps and a map editor.

About this app

Firefight is a World War II real-time simulation game with more AI and attention to detail than any other game in its genre to date. Tanks are modelled with a physics engine and have gears, rev counters and speedos, and steer themselves with brake levers to give them realistic looking tracked vehicle movement. Each bullet, shell or piece of shrapnel is modelled in 3D and ricochets realistically off sloping surfaces. You can see each infantryman's rank, name, weapon, ammunition remaining, heart rate and fatigue levels. Machine gunners will call for ammunition when they're running low and other squad members will rush over with spare ammo if they are carrying any. Wounded men call for medics who will sprint over to administer first aid. Off-board artillery can be called in but will have to fire several ranging shots before the full 8 gun battery opens fire simultaneously.

If you liked Close Combat you'll love Firefight!
