I recommend only using a computer with a stable internet connection for this. That is fun and I have had no problems. Don't bother with the mobile app. The mobile app uses tons of battery even in the background. When you use the mobile app to make changes to your course, or other changes, and go back later the changes you have made are gone. It never gives a notice if it is having trouble communicating with the servers so you can take some action. This has bad consequences your race.

Use to be a stable app, but now course changes sometimes doesn't take effect, although it shows when doing it......causing the boat to run aground. Once aground there is no way of getting back. Terrible update, not worth using until the bugs are sorted out. Great VR racing and features, but unstable app.

Pay to Win! Unless you spend a BOAT load of money you have no chance of winning a race. Even then you'll probably run around somewhere that there isn't land marked on the map. Don't waste your money and go buy a real sailboat.

Slow enough to feel quite real, as someone who has experience of ocean sailing. Not quite perfect yet, but actual current wind conditions wonderful, and adds huge degree of exciting unpredictability.
