About this app

Tres is a pattern-finding game designed to put your brain to the test!

Each card in the Tres deck presents you with 4 dimensions: shape, color, number, and fill. For each of these dimensions, there are 3 possible variations . . .

- Shape: circle, triangle, square
- Color: yellow, green, pink
- Number: one, two, three
- Fill: empty, solid, striped

The object of the game of Tres is to create as many sets of three cards from an 81 card deck as possible.

Within a set, all three cards must have variations that are either all the same or all different across each of the four dimensions. In other words, no card should ever be an oddball.

During the game, you will be shown a board with a total of 12 cards. Select sets of three to reveal new cards, working your way through the 81 card deck! The game ends when you run out of cards or can’t make any more sets.

We’ll start you off on an easy level, which excludes one of the dimensions (number) from the game. When you feel comfortable, go into the settings and select “hard” to introduce variations in number to your cards. Best of luck!
