Excellent non-stop fun for kids as they learn letters, sounds, and words! Although the games are repetitive my daughter (4) didnt care and followed through all 47 planets. However, I'd suggest amplifying the range of sounds and words before moving so quickly into sentences as she began guessing with trial-and-error. Overall, very useful and entertaining :)

wrong kind of educational content, imho: way too repetitive. way. too. repetitive. waaaay! you see, in this review you can skip to whatever part it may interest you, quickly. in the game, you can't. children love repetition, but a INTERACTIVE GAME should let them choose when they want to repeat, not push it down there throats. too much choice is surely stressful, but a little bit of choice goes a long way!! cheers.

It's a wonderful phonics learning game. Our 4 year old started on it with virtually no knowledge of letters and has learned a fair bit from it (now halfway through game 2), while also enjoying it a lot. My only complaint is that the game progresses quickly between levels even if the player is not getting answers consistently right. The whole game progresses for my son too quickly without additional phonics support from school, etc. (where we live he isn't supported in learning to read at kindergarten), so he is going through the game while only learning some of the letters. We've tried logging him in as a new user so that he could go back through the starting levels (which he wasn't too happy about!), but even so the game is progressing too fast. It would be better if the next level were rewarded only if there are few or no mistakes.

This is a wonderful app! My son was introduced to it at school and asked for it so he can play/learn at home too. He was 5 at the time and is now 6 and he still loves it. It is both entertaining and instructional. It is very creative and child friendly. My son is able to use it on his own without the need of adult help. I highly recommend it. There is a little bit of difference with the pronunciation with the English on the app and the English we use in the USA, but it is only a minor issue. Thanks for creating this app!

We played the game on the internet on a pc for free and was able to get the app for free. The only issue is it's british so had to explain chips were fries and a few of the sounds are slightly different for us as americans. But it has greatly helped my little. At 3.5 she was reading and not just words like cat but reading books and sounding out multisyllabic words. This app was not the only reason, I helped her but it was a great tool to help.

Gets boring for my 4 year old after a few minutes. Doesn't show them their mistakes to learn from, just keeps repeating the narrator's instruction. If they don't understand it's very frustrating for them, but also they can just guess like multiple choice. Disappointed as it was a few quid to buy.
