Monster Zoo – a playful welcome to the world of writing
The Monster Zoo is an educational game app for children of preschool age which has been developed by a collaboration of occupational therapists and writing experts. Varied tasks teach your child the various basic shapes used in writing, such as loops, lines and arcs, and systematically promote motor skills.
It includes 28 exercises of increasing difficulty, for children aged from 4 to 6 years.

Learn movements - not letters
Unlike other writing practice games, the Monster Zoo app promotes motor skills. This means the Monster Zoo app doesn’t teach your child letters, but focuses instead on the first basic shapes and movements that will be most useful later on when they begin to write.

The Monster Zoo – a monstrously good story
The young wizard Oli Orakulos has magicked a Monster Zoo – with quite chaotic consequences. Your child can help Oli to get the zoo ready and make the monsters happy.

Parents are in the know
In the parents section of the Monster Zoo, you can check in on the progress of your child at any time. It will show you what tasks have been completed and which ones they’re finding more tricky.

It becomes child’s play to learn the skills needed to write in an enjoyable, fun and engaging way with the STABILO SMARTjunior, a pen shaped specifically for children, and the Monster Zoo educational game.

SMARTjunior stylus
SMARTjunior is the first ergonomic stylus pen.
Its ergonomic grip zone allows your child to hold the pen comfortably in a relaxed manner and, when used with the SAMSUNG S-Pen, it gives a perfect smooth and comfortable operation with the SAMSUNG GALAXY Note 10.1 tablet.

The correct grip promotes a relaxed hand and fatigue free writing
The Monster Zoo app will only recognise the tip of the SMARTjunior - not a hand or a finger. So your child can rest their hand on the tablet without interfering with the game. Of course, your child is also able to use the STABILO SMARTjunior ergonomic pen for other electronic applications on the SAMSUNG GALAXY Note 10.1, too.

The development of the Monster Zoo app was accompanied by occupational therapists from the Dutch Redboud university and was also certified by scientific experts of the Schreibmotorik Institut.
