Dragon quest was an amazing game on NES. Whatever this is, it's been done 1000 times by other mobile games. Nothing unique or interesting, just high end graphics. Like the pokemon quest, or any other of exactly the same thing wrapped a little different. Game is simple, p2w or grind grind grind grind grind. Boring. Sad it carries the dragon quest name.

...This game... I've never played Dragon Quest before, but this game makes me want to play it, why? This isn't about making something new but just about making a fun game. I had a blast just playing it, also everything in game makes it looks like you can just take your time and enjoy yourself with it. It has been lagging a bit on my smartphone but I just don't care BECAUSE the game is good! I love it! Also to the devs: Thank you for the master piece you've done! Hope you have great day!

Some issues: Hard to progress past 12000-15000 team power without spending money; enemies in The Arena, and in general, have infinite mana; AI can be annoying (just standing there sometimes to force you to make the first move); linear story and method of story progression (would prefer even a simplistic overworld map). However, the characters are fun and diverting, the animation quality/graphics is impressive and the combat is well thought-out. Highly monetised, but enjoyable nonetheless.

It's difficult to review a game that I can't get to work on either my galaxy tab 10.1 or my s8. I'm not sure why compatibility seems to be lacking, but I can't ignore that I've been trying to play this since launch and seemingly can't get anything to work. Please get back to me so we can figure out why this happens, and how it can be fixed Edit: what the hell, it's been a month and still nothing?!?

I always enjoy Dragon quest and this game is a lot of fun seeing all the monsters from most of the games they play and other games I never got to play it's a real treat and is always fun summoning and seeing them and playing them out and just like bored like game and stories pretty interesting too so I'm looking forward to playing around more whenever I get through the time to do so.

Fun to start with but you much too quickly hit a pay/grind wall that destroys the pacing of the game and makes it a chore to play. Worse still is the monthly subscription is a total wash - it gives you very little of value for your money. If the monthly subscription did something like double your gem gain or gave you tons of freebies to lesson the grind I would have been happy - as is the game hits unplayable after a few weeks which is all the more disappointing.
