I played this game like crazy on ps, in fact I still own a working copy, this version is bad IMO. The camera controls are trash for one thing which Is an integral part of the game. Second this is console port but I can't use a controller. The cut screens are nice and the updated text but it's basically a pain to play at all. Also as a phone game it needs to save wherever you are, I know it didn't have that feature at release but it wasn't a phone game then. 2 stars on nostalgia and cut sceens.

The game is amazing but the Android port is unplayably awful. There seriously isn't even an option to go full screen vertically (thick borders on the top and bottom--why?!) and the battle control interface is the same clunky scheme from the 90s--which sort of worked with a controller but turns into an unbearable mess with a touchscreen. Also they should have kept the translations from the original 90s version. The new text is not needed and is nastalgia breaking.

Hard early game. Gets harder if you grind to much. The ending makes me furious. I wouldn't take back the experience of playing this game for anything. An intricate story and one of my favorite combat systems makes this an instant favorite. The games is ruthless but it is an enjoyable experience once you get rolling. Please play this. If you've tried it before and found it to tough, as I did many times, dont give up! A trick is to JP Boost and Focus in a corner till you're over leveled~

First, let me start off by saying that this is one of my favorite games of all times. I've spent literally thousands of hours playing it on Ps1. I see all the changes made, like word errors, and job names have been changed. Some techniques have been renamed. But for the life of me, I can't understand why the hell the sound effects have changed. They are obnoxious and sound really, really, bad. What a great shame. It would be a 10/5 if it weren't for the crappy new sound effects.

Always loved and always will love! The pace of the game is set to my standards and it waits for me to play to advance. The only problem I have is that the job points dont always seem to go where they should/need to go. But I love this game and will play it forever!!!!

Videos dont always play, op enemies after lvl 55, if you have a 99% chance to hit, you're more likely to miss than the cpu that has a 25% chance to hit, the brave and faith system is totally off, and the games set up to make you fail later on as well if you're doing too good. Took a ss of the game freezing, and I bet an octillion $ as soon as the devs see this it either gets ignored or deleted. Copied and ready to be pasted if it is deleted again, I used no foul language of any sort the lasttime
