Compared to the original, I'm so disappointed. The original alphabear was one of my favorite games EVER, and this new one is hard to follow in this story mode format. I intended to redownload the old version and pick up where I left off, but I'm sad to see it's been removed from app stores. I don't know why the original is no longer available, but I heartily wish that it be brought back.

Microtransaction engine masquerading as a game. There's a really fun game under all these payments, but you have to pay in so much to keep playing that it's not worth it. Edit: in true "technically correct" style, the developer responds; it is true that since you earn a small amount of in game currency each day, you may play a small number of levels each day;; if the small number you're allowed is satisfactory to you, then technically you can complete it for free. Not my idea of a game.

Fun idea for a game, but it has some serious flats. Different bears have different powers, but they also have a score modifier. The score requirements make it so that you have to select a bear for its score modifier, rather than selecting interesting powers. And keeping your bears leveled up is a pain. Unless you pay a monthly fee or purchase level up items directly, it takes forever to level your bears. They're quest for extra $ is making the game less fun.

I LOVED Alphabear. Thought I was redownloading the original, but soon realized that this is a completely different game! I wish I could download the old game again. 😭 I bought infinite honey before and was prepared to buy it again but...the only thing I can buy is no ads. I can only play a few games at a time which is okay if you want to limit your game time, but kinda crummy when you're looking for a fun distraction during a long plane ride. It's still a good game, though.

It was fun at first. After a certain level, you will need higher skilled bears to clear the level. However, it takes too long for the bears to finish "schooling". As a result, you can only play at most 4 games a day, and may not clear a level at all. I got frustrated and bored, and eventually uninstalled the app.

I think the gameplay is quite fun, but certainly the ads are too annoying because they can only be disappearing within 7 seconds + 3 seconds for the second X. Most other ads would only cost you 5 seconds. Also, the honey system are too short, as you can only play 4 times then waiting for the refill. Most other games gave you a lot wider space to play until you ran out of "lives".
