I love this game. At first i used it just to waste time. But my 4 yr old son started playing with me and I think its a great tool for him to practice both his alphabet identification as well as spelling. In the beginning I would spell the words and he would type the letters in, but now that we've been playing for a few weeks he is able to find more and more of his own words!

I like this game. It's fun and adorable, but I would like to see a better way to challenge my friends than posting to facebook or sending emails/texts. Other games like Trivia Crack figured this out perfectly. A group of us regularly play together because it's simple to just click on their names, and they get a notification on their phone that there is a challenge waiting. I won't be playing much verses until there is a better way to invite people to a challenge.

The game is adorable, and I love collecting all of the cute bears and using their abilities. It's a word game with a fresh twist. Unfortunately however the difficulty level goes up exponentially very quickly. I recommended the game to a younger sister (like junior high level), and it was fairly difficult for her to keep up. Even with me being generally decent with word games, this game got too challenging too quickly. Somewhat disappointed. =/

A fun highly polished game with a quirky style. Alphabear has charm but lacks depth, getting repetitive and grindy fast. Found myself lacking motivation to play. A few ideas for improvement could be the addition of a story mode and leaderboards (maybe tied to a weekly challenge). Fun to play on the go but little replayability. Good for players who want something simple and stress free.

Easy-to-understand simplified scrabble. Characters are cute. The games mechanics are simple but the puzzles scale and get more challenging, so it holds attention. I can see why someone might spend a little bit of money on it, but it's not required for it to be fun. I do notice an error on the page for selecting bears prior to a puzzle - I'll have to touch bear several times before it is selected. Overall though a funny, smart puzzle game and another good piece from Spry Fox.

I LOVE the concept of this game, but I would love it more and would play it more often if it didn't relegate you to an offline game mode. It sucks not being able to play the campaigns while I'm commuting on train with no cell reception. Also, while selecting your bears before a stage, the game doesn't always seem responsive when I click on a bear. Not a huge deal, but it's just a small pain point that could be improved on.
