3 starts because sound effects do not work. Please fix. Otherwise good and underrated game. Edit: okay I used earphones and then sound effects worked and then disconnected them and they worked through the phone's speakers. Then I quit the game and started again and the sound effects didn't work again! I will blame my phone on this one but it's still weird. 4 stars.

The game is just not fun. Considering that Sonic 1,2 ,3 and Knuckles were great games, why not build off of those? What about a collection of levels from Sonic's past remixed to fit the homing attack? Controlling Sonic is not fun either. Why does it take so long to look up? Why can't I play as anybody but sonic? What about Knuckles or Tails? I also wish that you actually controlled Sonic in the special stages as well. This game had good potential, it just failed gameplay wise.

These levels are nice but WHAT THE HECK lybrith zone boss is almost impossible. And the controls are to small. I know sonic games don't update much but they should really make the controls bigger. Cuz it's to small and I'm a so if fan. I want to play the game. But like I said, they should make the controls bigger.

The side scrolling levels on sonic generations were better than the demo of this game, so i never got it or ep2 for xbox 360... figured what the hell when 4 was released on android for less. I'm giving this one star because it lacks controller/keyboard mapping customization [not needed on a console] AKA the controls suck like all the other bad reviews state.

This is great! I wish it was free, but it wasn't expensive, either. I know it's just the old levels reimagined, but the 3D effect is amazing! Love the homing attack. And I love the tilt-screen play on the Special Stage. I have yet to to get an emerald in Sonic 1, but this is much easier. The music is great and most of the graphics are good (some of the badniks look cheap, tho). One glitch, not a biggie- when I hit the goals in a Special Stage, it shuts off my phone.

Solid Sonic 1 & 2 remake. Could use more stages as it feels a bit too short. Bonus stage 3 is a little too tight on perfect execution, could benefit from a few more seconds on that timer. And sheesh that Casino Zone. Why do you guys at Sega love making Sonic have to stop and go slow? Isn't the whole point of this character to always be moving and ways be moving fast? Just my 2 cents.
