Man, this did not transition well they could've done better, it was hard enough in the arcade! The touch controls suck, the screen is way too small for what all is going on and this was the beginning 30 seconds of gameplay! Gotta love the classics which garnered however many stars I give it, depends on how nostalgic I feel by the time I'm done writing this 🤷 I usually fill out the 500 digit max with my reviews because I just have that much to say but this one's gonna be tough, I can't think o🤷

You know what you are getting. Trashy controls. That awful, awful early Genesis fart bag with vibrato FM sound and paper snare drums. Play Gunstar Heroes and just MOVE ON already. Great game if you have a controller for your android. Otherwise, don't torture yourself.

Horrendous controller design for mobile. Desperately needs user adjustment options, and thickening of the main dpad directions. This goes for all sega forever games btw.

What I don't get is why the original Space Harrier isn't available for download. I would really love it if it came onto play store. Its one of my favourite arcade games of all time.

Great to play this classic again. One thing though, it doesn't seem like you can invert the directional controlls (So that up is down), which is really the only way I can play this type of game for some reason. It was the only way I could play this on the megadrive when I was a kid.

Always loved this game but the controls on this app version are terrible and make it unplayable for me...so much so that I ended up uninstalling it the same day i installed. A shame because it's one of my favorite games of all time. Fortunately I still have it on my old Genesis.
