Started in 2015. Great game. New version is weird. Miss classic look. Rotate button now has clue button in its place. I can't move it out of way. After one game I couldn't jump in - forced to a subscribe screen. Is this correct or is it a bug? I'm uninstalling now. I'll try again in a few months to see if classic view is restored. Sven, thanks for making my favorite casual game.

Good bye. After 6+ years of playing the game, the new version has continued to crash without the promised reporting. My history and friends list did not migrate. Having to watch an ad per game and then having that game crash is like everything else today. Continually paying for an item/service that is not improved but actually below previous quality. Funny how it doesn't crash during the ads. Anagram Hero works better than this... Oh wait it's gone.. but still better.

I loved this game and played it all the time. The app updated on 12/31/23 and I played two games and now I'll be uninstalling it. The gameplay is buggy and slow and they want you to pay a subscription or watch ads to unlock tickets to play. This app has remain unchanged for years and now they want to charge a subscription for a worse version? Okay, but then leave the old free version that we've been playing for years to the rest of us that loved it just the way it was. Time to move on I guess.

The recent reviews are loud and clear. Too many ads and a nonfunctioning app that you can't even play after giving ridiculous ad permissions. You have to find a balance between playability and ads. If you have too many ads and an app that crashes, you will have no players and no advertising revenue. I've played for years. I'll try to remove permissions and check back in a month or two. Fix it please.

Whelp, you broke it, friends. Crashes repeatedly, maxing out free tickets. No access to gameplay, just add to earn tickets that crash out. Useless now. Been playing since at least 2012. Was the best free word game out there. No upgrades for about 4 years and it was still working great. Now? If the free game doesn't work I can't take the risk to subscribe. Yet. I figure you'll get this handled if you want that monetization. Until then, it's a nope.

This used to be an addictive, fun game, but this lastest update ruined it. The game now limits you to 5 "tickets" for free games. After that, you have to either watch 30 second ads or wait for the tickets to refill by a timer. The designers really want you to pay $1.99 per week or $4.99 per month for a subscription to remove these onerous limitations. I played this game for years before this, but I'm not going to be blackmailed into paying for it. Edit: crashing appears to be fixed, still sucks
