Great little game. Quick to learn and interesting to play. Good mix of skill and luck. With random card drawing some hands feel like you're just trying to minimize the damage a poor draw can cause while others feeling like pure joy to play. I also have enjoyed the historical education it's sparked in me over the civil war, especially in these times (2020)

I only just began solitaire wargaming (non-cyber), even so, I instantly recognized the designer, Mark Herman. Several of his works are directly responsible for my conversion to the hobby, so I was both thrilled to see this ingenuous little game available off-PC, and have found it to be a more-than-worthy adaptation--all the way around (it is, in fact, the only game I now bother playing on devices at all)!

The game plays very well. The AI is slow on the first move of each turn (but my tablet isn't very powerful), but it's acceptable and plays well. Battery killer, though, 2 games took down 15% of my battery and the back of the tablet got extremely warm from all of the CPU work.

The interface is fine, but I purchased this to play offline against the A.I. on my Android device, as the description mentions, and the A.I. is very slow and thus far not very I. at all.
